Colt Firearms 1911 Combat Elite Defender Features
The Colt Combat Elite Defender is a compact 1911 purpose built for defensive use. The Combat Elite features full stainless steel construction with a unique two tone PVD finish which makes for a unique two tone appearance and is corrosion resistant, making it perfect for carry. Maximum concealibility comes from the compact 3-inch barrel and carry bevel slide. The slide is fitted with a genuine Novak night front sight and Novak Low Mount Carry rear sight. To improve handling it includes an ambi extended thumb safety, upswept beavertail grip safety and series 80 firing pin safety for added security against accidental discharge. The solid aluminum trigger has a trigger weight of 4.5-6 lb from the factory and makes accurate shooting a breeze.
