The Colt Firearms 1911 Government Combat Unit is everything you could want in a 1911 fighting pistol, built with years of experience and the input of veteran US Special Forces trainers. Built for duty or defensive use, the TALO edition 1911 Government Combat Unit in 45 ACP starts with an all stainless steel frame and slide, topped with a matte black PVD finish for extremem corrosion resistance.

The frame is fitted with an extended mag well for faster mag changes, and the frontstrap is checkered for improved grip no matter the conditions. The slide includes forward cocking serrations for easier press-checks, and is topped with a Novak night sight up front, matched with a Low Mount Carry rear for an excellent sight picture day or night.

An ambi extended thumbsafety, upswept beavertail grip safety and G10 grips, with scallop for easier access to the mag release, round out the package.
