It is famous for its lightweight, low recoil and responsive, easy handling. The Winchester Model 1892 features a beautifully finished Grade I Walnut stock, blued barrel and receiver, large loop lever, Marble front sight, adjustable rear sight and a 20 button-rifled barrel with recessed crown. The steel contoured carbine strap buttplate is quick to shoulder and protects buttstock from damage.
