This pump action shotgun is equipped with a 30″ barrel which appears to have been heavily choked/modified at the muzzle (see pictures). The wood is a little loose and has some cracks, and the take-down point between the barrel and the receiver is a little loose as well. All the parts appear to be here, but this is definitely a gun in the “Gunsmith Special” category. It is HIGHLY recommended that this shotgun be examined and repaired by a competent gunsmith before it is ever fired.
The serial number is 740353 which appears to show this was manufactured in 1924.
